Max Manoogian prides himself on offering strong legal representation in the areas of criminal defense, divorce, and business law.  Trained in the arts of trial practice and negotiation at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he was awarded a full academic scholarship for scholastic merit, Max graduated in the upper echelon of his class and earned the distinction of Cum Laude.  A strong advocate for the city of Detroit, Max has worked in both the family and the criminal division of the city’s Circuit Court system.  Working in the chambers of the Honorable Richard B. Halloran, Third Circuit Family Court Judge, Max forged an understanding of the intricacies of family law.  Working in the General Trials Division of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Max refined his skills as a trial attorney, arguing felony cases on the record in front of Third Circuit criminal judges.

Max has represented clients in hundreds of felony, misdemeanor, and civil infraction cases in the 6th Circuit Court of the State of Michigan (Oakland County), 48th District Court (Bloomfield Hills), 44th District Court (Royal Oak), 52-3 District Court (Rochester), 46th District Court (Southfield), 43rd District Court (Hazel Park), 52-1 District Court (Novi), 52-2 District Court (Clarkston), 52-4 District Court (Troy), 36th District Court (Detroit), 41-A District Court (Sterling Heights), 16th District Court (Livonia), 35th District Court (Plymouth), 1st District Court (Monroe), 30th District Court (Highland Park), 51st District Court (Waterford), 50th District Court (Pontiac), 15th District Court (Ann Arbor), 23rd District Court (Taylor), 43rd District Court (Ferndale), 19th District Court (Dearborn), 24th District Court (Allen Park), 53rd District Court (Howell), 34th District Court (Romulus), 14A-2 District Court (Ypsilanti), 14A-3 District Court (Chelsea), and 47th District Court (Farmington Hills).  Max has also represented clients in several civil cases in Oakland County, Macomb County, and Wayne County Circuit Courts.

Max serves as Appointed Criminal Counsel for Judge Nicholson and Judge Carniak of the 52-3 District Court (Rochester); Judge Parker and Judge Brady of the 47th District Court (Farmington Hills); Judge Small, Judge D’Agostini, and Judge Barron of the 48th District Court (Bloomfield Hills); Judge Goedert of the 43rd District Court (Hazel Park); Judge Johnson of the 46th District Court (Southfield); and Judge Wittenberg of the 44th District Court (Royal Oak).  Max also serves on the 6th Circuit Court Felony Criminal Appointment List.

Max is a personable attorney who focuses his representation on zealous advocacy and a commitment to transparency and honesty with his clients.  Understanding that the uncertainties of the legal process present a significant hardship to laypersons, Max utilizes the skills he developed while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University to keep his clients fully aware of the steps and stages of their case.
