Max Manoogian prides himself on offering strong legal representation in the areas of criminal defense, divorce, and business law. Trained in the arts of trial practice and negotiation at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he was awarded a full academic scholarship for scholastic merit, Max graduated in the upper echelon of his class and earned the distinction of Cum Laude. A strong advocate for the city of Detroit, Max has worked in both the family and the criminal division of the city’s Circuit Court system. Working in the chambers of the Honorable Richard B. Halloran, Third Circuit Family Court Judge, Max forged an understanding of the intricacies of family law. Working in the General Trials Division of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Max refined his skills as a trial attorney, arguing felony cases on the record in front of Third Circuit criminal judges.

Max serves as Appointed Criminal Counsel for Judge Nicholson and Judge Carniak of the 52-3 District Court (Rochester); Judge Parker and Judge Brady of the 47th District Court (Farmington Hills); Judge Small, Judge D’Agostini, and Judge Barron of the 48th District Court (Bloomfield Hills); Judge Goedert of the 43rd District Court (Hazel Park); Judge Johnson of the 46th District Court (Southfield); and Judge Wittenberg of the 44th District Court (Royal Oak). Max also serves on the 6th Circuit Court Felony Criminal Appointment List.
Max is a personable attorney who focuses his representation on zealous advocacy and a commitment to transparency and honesty with his clients. His areas of practice include criminal defense, divorce, child custody, traffic (including commercial motor vehicles), landlord/tenant law, estate planning, contract drafting, debt collection, personal injury suits, and entertainment/sports agency.
